I still remember my
childhood days, when I used to sit and dream.
And wish for so
many silly things, like being a beautiful Queen!
I thought I
would live in a royal castle, or own a countryside town,
And have maids
all around me, who would help me wear a golden crown!
I pretended to be
Cinderella, going off to the ball,
And meet my
Prince charming who would show me off to all!
And as I
grew, I was a teen, I wished I could marry a Millionaire,
Who would buy me
a mansion, a gorgeous gown, and a shining diamond solitaire!
When I entered
my twenties, I realized my dream would never come true,
Until one day,
out of the blue, I suddenly met you!
You were
not exactly handsome, and you didn’t sweep me off my feet,
But you were my
Prince charming, very kind, thoughtful and sweet!
And even if you weren’t
a millionaire to buy me a big diamond Ring,
The little finger
band of gold you gave, perfectly meant everything!
Today we don’t
live in a mansion, and I don’t wear a gorgeous gown that gleams
But our small little
home is a castle, where you treat me like a Queen!
The wise say that
if you wish very hard, your dreams shall all come true,
They were so right...my dream
world came into existence, ever since I fell in love with you!
